Death Grips just threw out a new track called Streaky. As usual, they put it on YouTube and shared it on Facebook, with over 400 comments in 20 minutes and counting. Seems there’s a rabid wait for the new album Year of the Snitch – which they promise is “coming soon”.
Anyway, ‘Streaky’ is pretty catchy for a random Death Grips drop. Slithery enough, with a ‘Witness ( 1 Hope)’ glitchy bassline, an 8-bit synth lead and MC Ride non-sequiturs all in the right place. Best news: he keeps saying ‘YUH!’, the closest he has to a catch phrase.
